Job Summary: As the Data Warehouse Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehouse. You will work closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to ensure the warehouse is optimized for data processing and storage. You will also be responsible for managing a team of data warehouse specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of the data warehouse, ensuring it meets the business requirements and is scalable for future growth.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to develop data models, ETL processes, and data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent data management practices across the organization.
• Oversee the performance of the data warehouse, analyzing and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal data processing and storage.
• Manage a team of data warehouse specialists, providing guidance and support for their professional development and project delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new data sources and data integration points into the warehouse.
• Conduct regular data audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data warehousing, recommending and implementing new tools and technologies to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Proficient in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing tools such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
