Position: Software Engineering Strategist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Strategist to join our dynamic team. As the Software Engineering Strategist, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our company's software engineering strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, plan and implement strategies, and drive continuous improvement in our software engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software engineering strategies to support the company's overall business goals and objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and operations to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies in the software engineering industry
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements and adoption of new technologies
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by establishing key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success of software engineering initiatives
• Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality standards
• Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of existing software engineering processes and make recommendations for improvements
• Lead the development and implementation of agile methodologies and practices in software development projects
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the software engineering team
• Act as a mentor and coach to junior members of the team and provide guidance and support in their professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a strategic role
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement software engineering strategies
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in software engineering processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
