Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our company's networks, systems, and data from cyber threats.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents promptly.
Conduct regular audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new and existing systems and processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies and make recommendations for enhancing our security posture.
Lead and mentor junior members of the cybersecurity team, providing guidance and training to improve their skills and knowledge.
Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to communicate security requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Work with third-party vendors to evaluate the security of their products and services and ensure that they meet our security standards.
Assist with the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of cyber attacks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices.
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
