Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Configuration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an IT Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the configuration of our company's hardware, software, and network systems. You will collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, install, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems according to company standards and specifications.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement configuration management policies and procedures.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their configuration requirements and provide technical support.
• Develop and maintain documentation of all configuration changes, updates, and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve system configuration processes.
• Perform regular audits and checks to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Identify and troubleshoot configuration issues, provide solutions, and escalate complex problems to senior team members when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in configuration management to enhance the company's IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Industry certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or CompTIA A+ are a plus.
