Position: Cloud Administrator
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $115 Per hour
Employment Type: Contract
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cloud environment.
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions, including but not limited to virtual machines, databases, and storage.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement new cloud-based services.
- Create and maintain documentation for our cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Proactively identify potential areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to ensure our cloud environment is always up-to-date and secure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with automation tools, such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
