Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data migration requirements
Design and implement data migration solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices
Develop and maintain data mapping documents, data conversion scripts, and data validation procedures
Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data
Troubleshoot and resolve any data migration issues in a timely manner
Create and maintain data migration project plans, timelines, and milestones
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members
Train and provide support to end-users on new data migration processes and systems
Continuously monitor and improve data migration processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration or data integration role
Strong understanding of data structures, database design, and ETL processes
Experience with SQL and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, etc.)
Familiarity with data migration tools and software (e.g. Informatica, Talend, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of successfully completing data migration projects on time and within budget

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with the possibility of occasional overtime or weekend work
The role may require occasional travel to client sites or other company locations
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage
The Data Migration Developer may work remotely or on-site, depending on project requirements
