Position: Radiology Technician

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technician to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology technology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Radiology Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions by producing high-quality diagnostic images. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, collaborating with a team of medical professionals to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, using specialized equipment and techniques
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns they may have
• Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of images
• Review and evaluate images to ensure they meet the required standards and make adjustments as needed
• Communicate with physicians and other medical staff to discuss procedures and patient care plans
• Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical records systems
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff
• Stay current with industry developments and technological advancements in radiology to enhance skills and knowledge
• Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current state license to practice as a Radiology Technician
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Proficiency in operating radiology equipment and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed
