Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the performance and availability of our cloud-based systems and proactively take necessary actions to ensure optimal performance.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to cloud infrastructure, including network connectivity, server performance, and application performance.
Work closely with the DevOps team to implement and maintain monitoring tools and systems for our cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain alerting mechanisms to ensure timely detection of any potential issues.
Conduct regular audits of our cloud infrastructure to identify any security vulnerabilities and implement necessary measures to mitigate them.
Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to ensure proper configuration and scaling of our cloud-based systems.
Keep track of emerging trends and best practices in cloud monitoring and make recommendations for improvements to our monitoring processes.
Serve as the subject matter expert for all cloud monitoring related queries and provide training and support to other team members as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools and technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
