Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Data Platform Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Platform Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our company's data platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, database design, and data modeling, with a passion for building scalable and efficient data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our company's data platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams.
• Design and implement database structures, schemas, and data storage solutions.
• Develop data integration strategies and solutions to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Define and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the data platform and its capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in database design, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in data integration tools and technologies such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and data security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
