Salary: $171000 - $208000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Backup Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Backup Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the backup infrastructure for our company's cloud-based systems. In this role, you will work closely with our IT team to ensure the security, reliability, and availability of our data backup and recovery processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud backup technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backup and recovery solutions for our cloud-based systems.
• Monitor and maintain the backup infrastructure to ensure data is backed up accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to backup and recovery processes.
• Develop and maintain backup policies and procedures to ensure data is protected and recoverable in the event of a disaster.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the backup infrastructure meets the company's security and compliance standards.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new backup technologies and methods to improve efficiency and performance.
• Perform regular backups and conduct periodic disaster recovery tests to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Provide technical support for backup and recovery processes to internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud backup technologies such as AWS S3, Azure Backup, and Google Cloud Storage.
• Experience with backup and recovery software such as Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
