Salary: $228000 - $288000

As an Advanced Threat Detection Specialist, you will be a crucial member of our dynamic and innovative cybersecurity team. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify and mitigate potential cyber threats to our organization. You will utilize your advanced knowledge and skills in threat detection and response to safeguard our systems and data from external and internal threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced threat hunting and analysis to identify potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities
• Utilize cutting-edge tools and technologies to monitor and detect suspicious activities on our networks and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promptly respond to and contain any identified threats
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence sources and constantly update threat detection strategies
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address any potential weaknesses in our systems
• Investigate and analyze security incidents and provide detailed reports to management
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in threat detection and mitigation techniques
• Provide training and awareness sessions to educate employees about potential cyber threats and how to prevent them
• Participate in security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other members of the cybersecurity team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on threat detection and response
• Advanced knowledge of threat intelligence and security operations
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for threat detection and response
• In-depth understanding of common cyber threats and attack vectors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred
