Salary: $190000 - $240000

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Migration Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Data Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for migrating data from on-premises systems to cloud-based platforms. You will work closely with our clients to understand their data migration needs and design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their current data landscape and migration goals
• Design and implement data migration strategies to move data from on-premises systems to the cloud
• Develop data mapping and transformation scripts to ensure seamless data transfer
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any data migration issues
• Monitor data migration processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data migration and integration
• Provide technical support to clients during and after the data migration process
• Document all data migration processes and procedures for future reference
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and data migration best practices
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data migration efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, preferably in a cloud environment
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
• Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Java
• Experience with data mapping and transformation tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
