Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kubernetes Administrator to join our team. As a Kubernetes Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Kubernetes cluster. You will work closely with our development and infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth operation of our containerized applications.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes cluster
- Monitor and troubleshoot cluster performance and capacity
- Implement and maintain security policies for the cluster
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications on Kubernetes
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize application performance on the cluster
- Create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to Kubernetes administration
- Stay updated with the latest Kubernetes developments and implement best practices
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and components
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and automation tools such as AWS, Azure, or Terraform
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is a plus
