Salary: $115 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Threat Detection Specialist to join our team. As a Threat Detection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization from potential threats and attacks. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating any security risks that may pose a threat to our company's systems, networks, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze cyber threats, including malware, phishing attempts, and other malicious activities targeting our organization.
• Utilize various security tools and techniques to detect, investigate, and respond to potential threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and protocols to prevent and mitigate potential threats.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports to keep the organization informed about emerging threats and trends.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve threat detection and response capabilities.
• Participate in incident response activities and conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate security risks and potential impact to key stakeholders, including senior management and other internal teams.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and guidelines for threat detection and response activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and highly regulated industry.
• In-depth knowledge of various security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Strong understanding of common attack vectors and threat landscape.
• Experience with security incident response and handling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus.
