Position: IoT Solutions Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $130 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative IoT Solutions Architect to join our team. As the IoT Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that leverage the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) to drive business growth and enhance the overall customer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure IoT solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest IoT technologies, trends, and best practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define business requirements for IoT solutions
• Design and develop end-to-end IoT solutions, including hardware, software, connectivity, and security components
• Create detailed technical architecture and design documents for IoT solutions
• Evaluate and select appropriate IoT platforms, protocols, and standards to meet business requirements
• Lead the implementation and integration of IoT solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and interoperability with existing systems
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of IoT solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and proactively identify opportunities to enhance and optimize existing IoT solutions
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and select third-party IoT solutions and components
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution diagrams, user guides, and training materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions
• Strong understanding of IoT concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, and edge computing
• Experience with IoT platforms, such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP
• Familiarity with security principles and practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven track record of delivering successful IoT projects on time and within budget
