Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data systems and databases to store and manage large volumes of data.
Develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our databases.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and develop solutions to support their analysis and reporting.
Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data models.
Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data management and recommend improvements to our data systems and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data development or a similar role.
Strong experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C++).
Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
