Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and reliable big data solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and store large and complex datasets
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth and uninterrupted data flow
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of big data systems
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies and tools
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Big Data Developer or in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, etc.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Solid understanding of distributed computing and data processing principles
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
