Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, high-performance data processing systems using cutting-edge Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data lake
Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts for efficient data retrieval and analysis
Monitor and troubleshoot data processing jobs to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and efficiency
Identify and recommend new tools and technologies to improve our data infrastructure
Document data processes and data flows for future reference and knowledge sharing
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Big Data technologies and techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of years of experience as a Big Data Engineer or in a similar role
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
Experience working with Big Data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
Proficient in SQL and database concepts
Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
