About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Hadoop Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Hadoop Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Hadoop applications. You will work closely with our data scientists and data engineers to implement solutions that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Hadoop applications to meet business requirements
• Build and maintain scalable and high-performance Hadoop clusters
• Optimize and tune Hadoop clusters for maximum efficiency and performance
• Integrate Hadoop with existing systems and data sources
• Develop and implement data ingestion processes from various sources into Hadoop
• Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Troubleshoot and debug Hadoop application issues
• Monitor and maintain Hadoop cluster health and performance
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the Hadoop ecosystem
• Mentor and train junior developers on Hadoop best practices and coding standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Hadoop development
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and related technologies (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.)
• Experience with Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, or MapR
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
• Hadoop certification is a plus
