Position: ETL Developer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $92 Per hour
Overview: We are seeking an experienced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Developer to join our dynamic team. As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data integration processes. This role requires someone with strong technical skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse
- Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
- Optimize ETL processes for maximum performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors in data integration processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data integration and ETL development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ETL Developer or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based ETL tools such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
