Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable software applications using Scala.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Work with version control systems and continuous integration tools to ensure smooth deployment and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in functional programming and apply them to improve our software development process.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development using Scala.
• Strong understanding of functional programming concepts and experience with functional programming languages such as Scala, Haskell, or Clojure.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming with Java or C++.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Play or Akka.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
