Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain computer systems, including hardware, software, and networks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with our systems
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration and troubleshooting guides
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for system enhancements
Conduct regular system backups and perform disaster recovery procedures as needed
Provide technical support to end-users and train them on how to effectively use our systems
Manage and maintain system security, including user access, firewalls, and antivirus software
Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of our systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or a similar role
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Familiarity with cloud computing and storage services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
