Position Overview: As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems for our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our systems, as well as identifying and implementing improvements to optimize their performance. Your strong technical skills and experience will be instrumental in helping us achieve our business objectives and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex systems, including hardware, software, and network components, to meet the organization's current and future needs.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of all systems, ensuring they meet or exceed established service level agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to system architecture, infrastructure, and processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage them to improve our systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a system engineering role, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Extensive knowledge of system design, implementation, and maintenance, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Proven experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization technologies.
• Expertise in scripting and automation, preferably with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
