Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, and maintain system infrastructure, including hardware, software, servers, and other components
Develop and implement system configuration and maintenance procedures
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functioning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and provide technical guidance
Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve any security or performance issues
Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving system-related issues
Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve system performance
Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations
Work closely with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain system equipment and software
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards
Train end-users on new system features and functionality

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering or a similar role
Strong knowledge of system design, implementation, and maintenance
Experience with system virtualization, storage systems, and network infrastructure
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven experience in project management and working with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, etc.) are a plus

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that may require occasional after-hours or weekend work to perform system maintenance and upgrades. The System Engineer may also be required to be on call for system emergencies.
