Position: System Engineer
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $152000 - $192000
Overview: Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's complex systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and reliable systems to meet the company's needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Identify and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency and performance
- Manage system security, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams within the company
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for system improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a System Engineer role
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and virtualization technologies
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
