Salary: $92 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a CAD Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that are used for computer-aided design (CAD). In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new software features, as well as improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop software applications for CAD tools, including 2D and 3D design, drafting, modeling, and simulation.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Design and implement new features and enhancements to existing software applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
• Optimize software performance and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to continuously improve software functionality.
• Collaborate with other team members to review code and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the CAD industry.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D design principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
