Position: Senior Azure Data Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Data Architect to join our team. As a Senior Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's data infrastructure on the Azure platform. You will work closely with our data engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our data systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and a deep understanding of Azure data services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our company's data infrastructure on the Azure platform
• Collaborate with data engineering and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions
• Ensure data systems are highly available, scalable, and secure
• Optimize data architecture for performance and cost-efficiency
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and Azure data services
• Train and mentor junior members of the data architecture team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Azure data services
• In-depth knowledge of Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of data governance and data security best practices
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
