Position: Junior Backend API Developer

Salary: $114000 - $136000

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Backend API Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Junior Backend API Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our API infrastructure. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our backend systems, as well as to design and implement new API features. You will work closely with our Senior Backend API Developers and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain API endpoints for our web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate frontend components and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain data models and database schemas for efficient data retrieval.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the functionality and stability of API endpoints.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies to continuously improve our API infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in backend development, preferably with a focus on API development.
• Strong understanding of API design principles, such as REST, GraphQL, and SOAP.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
