Position: ETL Developer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $92 Per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing efficient and scalable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL processes using industry standard tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements
- Analyze and document source data to identify data quality issues and implement solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings
- Develop and maintain data warehouse models to support reporting and analytics needs
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Work with database administrators to ensure data integrity and security
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to ETL development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or shell scripting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
