Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy GCP-based applications using a variety of programming languages and tools
Collaborate with architects and other developers to gather requirements and design technical solutions that align with business goals
Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of GCP applications by implementing best practices and optimizing code
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in GCP to continuously improve our development processes and tools
Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP solutions with other systems and platforms
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency in coding standards
Communicate project progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders and provide solutions to mitigate any potential roadblocks

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and deploying applications on GCP
Strong understanding of GCP services such as App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
Experience with GCP infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Developer, Professional Cloud Architect, etc.) are a plus
