Job Title: GCP Cloud Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for understanding our clients' business needs and translating them into scalable and secure cloud architecture on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, architecture design, and a deep understanding of GCP services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design GCP-based solutions to meet their needs.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions on GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, policies, and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of cloud solutions, including DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
• Conduct cloud architecture reviews and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GCP services and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our clients' cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams in the implementation of cloud-based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 2 years of experience in GCP cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices, including Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and Automation.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex cloud architectures on GCP.
• Deep knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.
• Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance principles in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer is a plus.
