Job Title: NoSQL Data Modeler

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NoSQL Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. As a NoSQL Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models for our NoSQL databases. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of NoSQL databases, data modeling techniques, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data models for NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
• Analyze and optimize existing data models to improve performance and scalability.
• Work closely with developers and database administrators to ensure data models are properly implemented and maintained.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation related to data models.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in NoSQL databases and data modeling techniques.
• Identify and troubleshoot data model-related issues and provide timely solutions.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
• Support data migration and integration projects, ensuring data models are properly configured and maintained.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure data models are aligned with coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling for NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases and their data modeling best practices.
• Proficient in SQL and database query optimization.
• Experience with data modeling tools, such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering data modeling projects on time and within budget.
