Lobox is seeking a skilled and experienced Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Cobol Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining Cobol applications. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Cobol programming to develop high-quality and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Cobol applications in accordance with business requirements.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of Cobol code to ensure high-quality and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Cobol applications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all Cobol applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Cobol development tools and techniques to enhance the overall efficiency of the applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor���s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cobol development.
• Strong knowledge of Cobol programming language and its associated tools.
• Proficient in using mainframe technologies such as JCL, CICS, and IMS.
• Experience in developing batch and online Cobol applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Experience in working with large, complex, and mission-critical applications is a plus.
