Salary: $133000 - $160000

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Ruby Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Ruby programming language and web development principles, as well as a passion for creating high-quality and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and other technical issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Ruby and web development
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Continuously improve and enhance existing software products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Ruby development
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade Ruby applications
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with popular Ruby frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, or Hanami
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
