Job Description: As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and applications for our clients. You will work closely with our team of developers, project managers, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective database solutions. Your main role will be to write and optimize SQL queries, create stored procedures, and design database structures to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SQL databases and applications based on client requirements
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
• Create and maintain database structures and ensure data integrity
• Develop and maintain stored procedures and triggers
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
• Conduct database performance tuning and optimization
• Identify and resolve database issues and bugs in a timely manner
• Perform data migration, backup, and recovery tasks
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends
• Ensure adherence to database security and data protection policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role
• Proven experience in SQL database design, development, and maintenance
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• In-depth knowledge of database security and data protection
• Familiarity with database management tools such as SQL Management Studio
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) is a plus
