Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with our development, product, and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, including networking, security, and IAM policies
• Automate deployment processes and workflows using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our various applications and services
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, availability, and security issues
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in a cloud environment
• Act as a subject matter expert for AWS services and provide guidance to junior team members
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve our DevOps processes
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for our systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS
• Strong working knowledge of automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
• Proven experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Java)
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles in a cloud environment
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
