Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop database architectures for complex data systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, identify data needs, and recommend solutions.
Develop database standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems to meet business and user requirements.
Monitor database systems to ensure uptime, data integrity, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
Perform data modeling and database design to support new and existing applications.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation.
Conduct database training for developers, analysts, and other team members.
Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Lead database-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Database Architect or a similar role.
Extensive experience in database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of database management systems, including Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
Proficient in SQL and database programming languages.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex database projects.
