Position: SAS Administrator
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $152000 - $192000
Full-time or Part-time: Full-time
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a SAS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the SAS environment, ensuring its stability, reliability, and performance. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain the SAS environment, including servers, databases, and web applications.
- Monitor the performance and health of the SAS environment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement system improvements and upgrades.
- Manage user access and permissions for the SAS environment.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the SAS environment, including standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with training as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SAS technology to continuously improve the environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SAS Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of SAS architecture and components.
- Experience with SAS Grid and SAS Viya is preferred.
- Proficiency in UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Shell.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
