Salary: $190000 - $224000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CP4D Developer to join our dynamic team. As a CP4D Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) platform. You will also be responsible for integrating data from various sources, developing data models, and creating visualizations to support business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and software development, as well as a solid understanding of the CP4D platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain applications using the CP4D platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements for new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Develop data models to support business needs and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Integrate data from various sources into the CP4D platform.
• Develop visualizations and dashboards to provide insights and support decision making.
• Optimize applications to improve performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the CP4D platform.
• Stay updated with new features and functionalities of the CP4D platform and implement them as needed.
• Train and mentor junior developers on the CP4D platform and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and data engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the IBM Cloud Pak for Data platform.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Working knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
