Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects, adhering to industry standards and regulations
Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness of new designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of mechanical components with other systems
Create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD software
Perform simulations and tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of mechanical systems
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or defects in designs and propose solutions to improve functionality
Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-effective materials and manufacturing processes
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
Stay updated on industry advancements, trends, and best practices to continuously improve and enhance designs and processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and development
Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Experience with simulation and analysis tools, such as ANSYS or MATLAB
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate and high-quality work
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASME and ANSI
