Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the game design team to understand the vision and goals of the game
Create animations for characters, creatures, and environments using various techniques such as keyframe animation, motion capture, and procedural animation
Develop and maintain animation pipelines, tools, and processes to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality animations
Work closely with other members of the art team to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in the overall visual style of the game
Continuously research and implement new techniques and technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of animations
Collaborate with programmers to integrate animations into the game engine and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
Participate in reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of animations
Maintain organized and well-documented files and assets for easy access and sharing within the team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Art, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in video game animation or a similar role
Strong proficiency in animation software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender
Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, and motion
Experience with motion capture and facial animation is a plus
Solid knowledge of game engines and their animation systems, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
Passion for video games and a strong understanding of their mechanics and design principles
