Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement database systems for our company's server environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database objects
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Ensure data integrity and security, including regular backups and disaster recovery plans
Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and make recommendations for improvements
Develop and maintain documentation for database systems, processes, and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
Work closely with other developers to integrate database functionality into applications
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient database design and coding practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in server database development and administration
Extensive knowledge of SQL and experience with relational database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra, is a plus
Familiarity with server operating systems, such as Linux or Windows
Understanding of database design principles and data modeling
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot database issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
