Job Title: VMware Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Developer to join our dynamic team. As a VMware Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining VMware-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers, architects, and other developers to ensure the successful implementation of VMware solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, as well as in-depth knowledge of VMware technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop VMware-based solutions to meet client needs
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other developers to understand project requirements and design efficient solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in VMware solutions
• Optimize performance and scalability of VMware solutions
• Keep up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and incorporate them into our solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
• Document designs, processes, and procedures for future reference

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in VMware development
• Strong understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#
• Experience with virtualization, storage, and network technologies
• Knowledge of cloud computing and containerization is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• VMware certifications are highly desirable
