Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement VoIP systems, including hardware, software, and network components
Develop and maintain system architecture, standards, and policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VoIP systems with other business applications
Conduct regular system audits to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies
Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VoIP systems
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and processes
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in VoIP technology, making recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades
Train and support end-users in the proper use and maintenance of VoIP systems
Lead and manage projects related to VoIP system upgrades and expansions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in designing and implementing VoIP systems
In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols and technologies, such as SIP, RTP, and TCP/IP
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VoIP hardware and software, such as PBX systems, softphones, and SIP trunks
Experience with network routing and switching, firewalls, load balancers, and other network components
Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices for VoIP systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven project management experience
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Certifications in VoIP technologies, such as CCNA Voice or CCNP Voice, are a plus
