Position Title: Web Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and talented Web Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Web Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our company's web architecture. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the overall structure of our websites and ensuring their high performance and scalability. The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled problem solver with a strong understanding of web development concepts and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our company's web architecture, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to develop innovative and efficient solutions
• Conduct regular assessments of our web architecture and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality code across all web projects
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and incorporate them into our architecture to enhance performance and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to web architecture, including performance, scalability, and security
• Manage and mentor a team of web developers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on projects, solicit feedback, and gather requirements to inform the web architecture roadmap

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architecture role
• Strong knowledge of web development languages and frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with web development tools such as Git, webpack, and npm
• Proven track record of designing and implementing high-performance and scalable web architectures
• Familiarity with database design and optimization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
