Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic
Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential keywords
Optimize website content, including metadata, headings, and on-page elements for targeted keywords
Keep up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms and make necessary adjustments to SEO strategies
Perform regular website audits and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, SEO-friendly content
Utilize various SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track, analyze, and report on website performance
Monitor and report on website traffic, rankings, and other key metrics
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new SEO developments
Continuously identify opportunities for website optimization and traffic growth
Conduct competitor analysis and identify areas for improvement
Implement technical SEO strategies, including site speed optimization, mobile optimization, and structured data markup
Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO recommendations
Stay up-to-date with WordPress updates and plugins to ensure website compatibility and performance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO and WordPress
Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic
Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices, techniques, and tools
In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
Experience with keyword research and analysis tools
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of WordPress and its plugins
Understanding of website design and development principles
Familiarity with social media and its impact on SEO
Certifications in Google Analytics and/or Google AdWords are a plus.
