Position: Senior Data Scientist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive business decisions and strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable recommendations that will contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex data sets using various statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends in data, and make accurate predictions and forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Design and implement data collection processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate complex findings to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into data analysis processes.
• Mentor and support junior data scientists, providing guidance and training when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science or analytics role.
• Strong expertise in statistical and machine learning techniques, such as regression analysis, time series forecasting, clustering, and classification.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with data manipulation and analysis tools, such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering data-driven solutions to support business objectives.
• Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive, is a plus.
