Salary: $270000 - $310000

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Natural Language Processing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal NLP Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge NLP technologies to enhance our products and services. This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of Natural Language Processing techniques and a proven track record of delivering successful NLP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of NLP solutions for our products and services
• Stay updated on the latest NLP research and techniques to continuously improve our NLP capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to identify NLP needs and develop solutions
• Mentor and guide junior NLP engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance on NLP projects
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, efficient, and scalable NLP solutions are delivered
• Develop and maintain NLP tools and frameworks to support NLP development across the organization
• Act as a subject matter expert in NLP, providing insights and recommendations on NLP strategies and approaches
• Communicate complex NLP concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of NLP tools and technologies to support business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing, with a focus on text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and language modeling
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other relevant languages
• Experience with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Gensim
• Proven experience in developing and deploying NLP models in a production environment
• Deep understanding of NLP techniques and algorithms, including machine learning and deep learning
• Experience with data processing and analysis tools, such as SQL, Hadoop, or Spark
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of delivering successful NLP solutions
• Experience with cloud-based NLP services, such as AWS Comprehend or Google Cloud Natural Language, is a plus
