Salary: $92 Per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation for our company's products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of all technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, write, and edit technical documentation including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy and clarity of technical content.
• Review and edit existing technical documentation to improve readability and consistency.
• Create engaging and user-friendly content that meets the needs of our target audience.
• Develop and maintain document templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all documentation.
• Conduct thorough research and gather information from various sources to support technical content.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and incorporate changes into technical content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality documentation within tight deadlines.
• Continuously improve and update existing technical documentation to reflect product and feature updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry.
• Proven experience in creating technical documentation for complex software products.
• Strong understanding of technical writing principles, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and MadCap Flare.
• Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools is an advantage.
