About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Lead Autonomous Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Lobox. As the Lead Autonomous Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge autonomous systems for a variety of industries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our autonomous systems meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers in the development of autonomous systems, including drones, robots, and self-driving vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Design and develop complex algorithms and software for autonomous systems, including perception, planning, and control.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of autonomous systems to ensure safety and performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of autonomous systems and integrate them into our products.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing autonomous systems, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java.
• In-depth knowledge of autonomous systems principles, including perception, planning, and control.
• Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from conception to launch.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
